Nurmukhamedov Khasen Nurmukhamedovich (1900-1938)

Nurmukhamedov Hasen Nurmukhamedovich is a public and state figure. He was born in Esil district of the Karaganda region in a peasant family, Kazakh. He was a member of the “Alash” party in 1917-1919, member of the Communist party in 1920. He graduated from the Siberian regional Soviet party school in Omsk in 1921, in 1927 he graduated from the economic faculty of the Moscow agricultural Academy named after K. A. Timiryazev, in 1932 he graduated from the research collective farm institute of Moscow. He was employed in 1914-1918. He was a teacher of the school of the Atbasar district in 1919-1920. In 1920-1921 he was a head of the Muslim section of the Atbasar district Committee of the CPSU (b), the Deputy Secretary of the Petropavlovsk provincial Committee of the CPSU (b). In 1922-1923 he was a member of the editorial Board of the newspaper “Enbekshi Kazakh”, at the same time he was an executive editor of the magazine “Kyzyl Kazakhstan”. In 1923-1928 he was the head of the surveying party in Semipalatinsk and Akmola province. In 1928-1932 he was an employee of the Moscow scientific research Institute of agricultural Economics; he was a graduate student of the scientific research collective farm Institute. In 1932-1933 he was a Director of the research Institute of the socialist reconstruction of agriculture of Almaty. From May 1933 to October 1934 he was a Deputy Chairman of the State planning Committee of KazSSR. In the 1934-1936 he was a Chairman of the Presidium of the Kazakh branch of agricultural Sciences, Chairman of the East Kazakhstan regional Executive Committee of Semipalatinsk. From July 1936 to October 1937he was a people’s Commissar of health of the Kazakh SSR.

He was a member of KazCIK in 1922-1924. He was the delegate of the first Congress of the CP (b) 1937, he was a member of the Central Committee of CP (b).He is the author of scientific works on problems of animal husbandry.

He was repressed and arrested in October 1937, sentenced to death in February 1938. He was rehabilitated in December 1957.
