Aitiev Abdurakhman (1886-1936)
Aytiev Abdurakhman was born in Sugirba, the former Terektinsky volost of the Ural province in 1886. He died in 1936. Aitiev Abdurahman is a public and state figure, a member of Alash Orda government. In 1901 he graduated from the Russian-Kazakh school in Karatobe. In 1917-1920 during the October events in the West-Kazakhstan region and in the Civil War supported the Bolsheviks. In 1920-1921 he actively participated in the delimitation of the northern border of the Kazakh autonomy. He was a chairman of the Akmola Provincial Committee. In 1921 he was a People’s Commissar of Internal Affairs of the Kazakh Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Aytiev is one of the authors of the draft of the first Constitution of the Kazakh SSR.
